Additive Masterbatch

Additive Masterbatch

SANS GLOBAL ADDITIVES combines additives to optimize processing and the performance of commodity and specialty resins.

These specifically-tailored masterbatches includes:

Antiblock Masterbatch

Antiblock masterbatch reduces or eliminates blocking/sticking of polymeric films. Blocking most commonly occurs when two pieces of films are pressed together such as on a take-up roll or after stacking finished converted films. Antiblock additives improve the handling and converting of film by minimizing film-to-film contact. It generally, prevents the extruded films from sticking together, thus increasing the speed of packaging and winding up process.

Benefits:

  • Increase output of packaging
  • Reduce friction between films
  • Facilitates winding-up
  • Allow smooth unwinding and slitting of the reels
  • Regulate the slip and antistatic properties

Application:

  • PE/PP Blown Film
  • Woven Sacks
  • Injection Molding
  • Cast Film
  • Blow Molding

Ultraviolet Masterbatch

SANS GLOBAL ADDITIVES manufacturer high performance UV Masterbatch based on hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). HALS do not absorb UV radiation, but act to inhibit degradation of the polymer by continuously and cyclically removing free radicals that are produced by photo-oxidation of the polymer.

Benefits:

  • To avert flexibility or stiffness, loss of strength and gloss, discoloration of the product.
  • Support optimum polymer stability of product when exposed to sunlight.
  • Excellent surface characteristics.
  • Highly resistance to extraction
  • Improves life of product.

Application:

  • Greenhouse films
  • Shade Nets
  • Mulch Film
  • Water Storage Tanks
  • FIBC
  • Injection and Blow Molding
  • Pipes and Drip laterals
  • PET Bottles
  • Ropes, wires and cables

Optical Brightener

Optical Brightener Masterbatches is specifically used for imparting whiteness and brightness to the plastic products without any bluer tone. With an excellent composition of bis-benzoxazole type organic derivative and poly-olefin polymer, this type of OB masterbatch is also responsible for minimizing the yellowing of end product.

Benefits:

  • Improves Optical properties
  • Smooth surface
  • Enhance the brightness and gloss.
  • Give neutrality to reprocess plastic granules.

Application:

  • Films and sheets
  • Woven Sacks
  • Rotomoulding
  • Molded Thermoplastic
  • Filaments
  • Fibers
  • Extruded Products
